My Journey Into the World of Black Pole Coffee : A Passionate Path from Business to Your Cup

As someone with a background in importing and trading of packaging goods, I’ve always had an eye out for new opportunities. The idea for Black Pole Coffee started simply enough on a leisure trip I took to Vietnam. While there, I was captivated by the café culture and the wonderful variety of coffee. But when I returned to India, I realized our own country had an incredible coffee heritage that was just as exciting.

From that spark of inspiration, Black Pole Coffee was born. We set out to create a brand that focuses on quality at every single step.

It all begins with careful harvesting. We partner with estates that emphasise quality over quantities, ensuring our beans come from lovingly tended plants. Then we focus on processing, using methods like fermentation to bring out unique and vibrant flavors.

Roasting, of course, is where the magic really happens. We craft our roast profiles to highlight every subtle note, ensuring a perfect balance of sweetness, floral hints, and just the right touch of bitterness. And finally, we pay special attention to brewing, guiding both cafés and home brewers on how to get the best out of each cup. After all, even the finest beans need the right brew to shine.

And throughout this entire journey, I've been grateful to have a longtime friend by my side, someone who shares this passion for coffee. Together, we’re building Black Pole Coffee into a brand that’s all about quality, care, and a little bit of that spark of discovery we found along the way.
